Righteous Intentions
At Sunday morning services, His faithful flock we find.
Intending to be righteous all through the week ahead.
Daily will we remember, for our sins Jesus bled?
On Monday and on Tuesday and all days of the week,
Each time we make decisions will we Jesus’ help seek?
Will we be content to follow the way the Bible shows?
Or make our choices instead, the way that the crowd goes?
The Holy Spirit’s with us, beside us and around.
From morn ‘til night every day God’s love for us abounds,
His power overcomes all, so evil cannot win.
If we but have the steadfast faith that Christ died for our sins.
