Christ Came Down At Christmas

Keep the spirit of Christmas in your heart,

Don’t let its hope and happiness depart.

Remember how the Christ child came to save,

And with His death our every sin forgave.

His love for us is hard to understand,

Yet truly it’s as endless as the sand.

The Babe born ‘neath the star wants us to see,

Belief in Him can surely set us free.

We all must listen though, to hear His voice,

And then each one must make her or his own choice.

If you believe, make Jesus word your guide.

His Christmas spirit will in you abide.

Christ came down at Christmas,

Brought God’s love to all,

Said life can be endless,

If we will only call.
